Harry Mok is a San Francisco resident, relatively new homeowner in the city and recently married to the beautiful, amazing, Ramie Dare. It’s been a busy couple of years.

Harry is the editor of Hyphen magazine, leading a staff of volunteers who produce one of the best Asian American publications in the country.

For six months of the year during baseball season, Harry can often be found using his Giants season tickets at AT&T Park in San Francisco. To pay for the tickets, he’s works as the lead producer for ContraCostaTimes.com. He has extra tickets for sale throughout the baseball season.

Ramie works as a developer for Mercy Housing California, which builds much needed affordable housing for low-income seniors and families across the state.

Harry has been a journalist for more than 15 years and has a masters in journalism from the University of California at Berkeley, where he was also a graduate student instructor in the Asian American Studies Department.

Harry has written for Hyphen, the San Francisco Chronicle, Salon.com, A. magazine and other publications.

Before joining ContraCostaTimes.com, he was the copy editor for the Chronicle, online editor for ChannelA.com, an Asian and Asian American Web site that went bust during the dot-com boom. He has also worked for Newsday in New York, the San Francisco Examiner and the Associated Press. (Download a Resume.)
